What Aria stores

Aria stores the information needed to provide and preserve your practice experience — sessions, transcripts, feedback reports, your onboarding answers, your story bank, your progress, and scheduled interviews you log. Some of this data is kept in your browser so Aria works quickly and reliably. Aria may also store it in its database so your work is not lost and, when you're signed in, can follow you across devices.

Practicing with Aria requires signing in with email, Google, or Microsoft. Your account includes your email, your name, and, when provided by a connected provider, your profile picture.

Voice sessions

A live session is a real-time conversation, and running it takes a few specialized providers: your audio is carried by our voice infrastructure, transcribed to text, spoken back in Aria's voice, and the conversation itself is run by an AI model, which also writes your feedback report afterward. Each provider processes your audio or transcript only to provide that service to you.

How Aria uses your data

Aria doesn't sell your data and doesn't show ads. Your practice information is used to provide and improve Aria — including generating coaching and feedback, tracking your progress, maintaining the reliability and safety of the service, and understanding where the experience can be better.

Authorized team members may review sessions when needed to improve coaching quality, investigate problems, or keep Aria working safely and reliably. Access is limited to the team members and service providers who need the information for those purposes.

Your controls

Because practice requires signing in, your work stays with your account and follows you across devices. Temporary guest profiles from before sign-in was required have been retired and their server data deleted; anything a browser kept only locally stays on that device and is cleared by clearing browser data.

You can edit or delete individual stories and answers from your story bank and Playbook at any time. Signing out clears your account data from that browser; data already synced to your account stays in your account. To delete your account and its synced data, reach out to the team.
